normally I would complain about tonal range here, with the shot being too gray, but in this case, I think it helps the shot and adds mood. There is a dreamy quality to this shot that I like. I'm rating it lower than I think it merits, however, because the bright spot on the ice on the right really annoys me and breaks the mood. I think, had this shot been cropped to remove that flaw, this would have been one of the better images in the challenge.

| Good capture of the ice - lighting and focus is very good. Ice is not easy to photograph well. Sad feeling photo - like a lost toy. B&W contributes very well to this mood. |

| I have to compliment you on your originality....I love it! The effects are great...a little glare off the ice on the right could've been done without, but still a good job! |
