 some fooling around in ps elements, mainly hus/sat, levels and USM
shot this with the "pastels" challenge in mind, but forgot it was already in voting. so here you go. actually this photo DNMC because there is nothing interesting on the intersections, but it is nicely divided into 1/3 sky & mountains and 2/3 cottongrass FG

Nice landscape. I can't tell if there is motion blur in the foreground or if that is just the appearance of the cotton. A faster shutter speed would obviously have solved the motion blur.

Next, try adding more contrast to the sky to get the clouds to really stand out. Also, add more saturation and contrast to get the grass and mountains to be more vivid.

I think this is a great image and can be greatly improved with some of Bear_Music's editing techniques.

This is a nice shot, but does not really work on the rule of thirds. Was it kind of windy the day you took the shot? It looks like there was some movement blur in the lower left hand corner.
