Great lighting ! The sprinkle looks like dust rather than mist to me. Is this growing out of a piece of lava? |

Nice lighting and nice capture of the water droplets. Composition is very nice. Looks like some flash highlights on the most prominent leaf which are a bit distracting, but otherwise a fine entry. Good luck. |

Nicely detailed photo. The plant will eventually grow into a tree if you keep on pampering it like that. In about 5 years time you will be able to enter it into the Sapling I challenge and in, say, 15 years you can enter the A Single Tree XXXV challenge ;-) |

first thought on this pic...title of "twinkle twinkle little tree"? I like the light, like the sprinkles the size of leaves and trunk make me think more branch than tree. The polish/sheen on left leaves is good. good luck in challenge 7 |

Really nice shot - the composition, color, and sharpness are all spot on, and I like the simplicity of the subject. I see too many photographs try to cram too much into the frame, and although this is clearly shot in a controlled environment, the elements used are completely appropriate. The mist adds a great layer to the picture that really makes it so powerful - without it, it would just be a picture of a well lit tree (and there certainly are plenty of those). There is something about studio shots (call them contrived, perhaps) that makes me feel a little bit removed from the subject - there's just something about a candid, natural photo that lends itself to greatness - but I have no doubts you will do spectacularly in this competition. All of the pieces are in the right place, and I really can't find much to criticize. |

hey, that's cool - introducing the water element like that is very creative - I'm impressed! Extra points if it's your sprinkler.
Hope you do well. |

Dramatic image. I like the contrast between the leaves and the background. The light rays are a nice touch. In short a very nice photo but I don't really see a tree here. Just a twig. |
