 I wanted to create an old time Native American portrait done in the style of the 1800's.

The outfit is one I created using no patterns other than museum pictures. See SPC 4 for more details.

You didn't make this outfit just for the callenge, did you?

The noise makes this shot very interesting, what is the background? for a reason I can't avoid looking at it.

Good job of creating the 1800s effect you were going for. I am not a huge fan of noise, but in this shot it is perfect. Like the dress too.

Having a minor Indian heritage I think this is awesome. Almost gives it a 'tintype' feel. Impressed with the homemade dress. A woman in Oklahoma recently got hers into the Smithsonian, she made it and used it in many Indian ceremonial dance displays.
