A very old and beat up spruce that I see every day on my way home from work, growing just inside Bronte Park, beside the only road adjacent to the park. The background is still the remains of what started as Hurricane Ernesto. Brightness/Contrast, Curves, Hue/Sat, and burning around the edges.

Hey, you entered a challenge! :-) I'm trying to think of the artist/print this reminds me of, but I'll never come up with it. But whatever it is, it really reminds me of that. I very much like this and cannot think of a single thing I'd want changed. Tones, composition, exposure are all dead on. Very nicely done, and underrated.

I really like this photo. The sky is incredible. The placement of the tree in the frame if great. The only distraction I see is the clutter at the bottom of the tree. It does not blend well with the grass. Otherwise, great photo. Good job! You have my vote...6

I think this is a great shot though I wish the tones was a bit more emphasis on the contrast, tones or something. Either way ....6. Good luck!

I like the delicate nature of this photo and the unusual sky enhances the image greatly. It is all about light. The tree is merely a supporting reason for being. Nice work. 8.

brown or neutral to the grassy area and some green pop to the tree with the nice sky with a swirl of sorts would really appeal to me in this picture. best of luck in challenge :-)

with that sky, I'd like to see more contrast. the b&w looses some of it's usefullness because the image is flat. 5
