This scene is lit by the moon visible in the tree branches. See the stars? I was testing out long exposures, and this one looked almost like daylight. Cool!

Processed from RAW, two passes through Noise Ninja, dodge & burn to even the sky, dodge stars, clone out a few branches peeking out of the left side, cloned out a yellow object at the base of the tree and some white spots in the foreground, boost color using Curves in LAB mode, spot saturation, slight Levels, USM.

Nice exposure although at first it looks more like the sun than the moon. I would have liked to see the tree more isolated from the background on the left. 5

the pp on the foreground seems a bit off. the rest of the image is nice, though, and the boats on the water add interest on that side.

first thought is to crop out a good deal of the blue sky. I think it detracts from the blue in the boats in lower portion. I do like the stars. However, stars and moon rays and fog of sorts...lot going on. One set of boats very vivid and the boat overturned under tree I almost missed. Seems to be many things gettin my attention other than the tree. gl in challenge :-)

Pretty tree. Nice composition. But I am a purist. I simply hate plastic in a woody, leafy environment. Even though plastic does make nice boats... ;-)

Excellent long exposure. Otherworldly!
