The bird seems too soft and noisy, and the B&W makes it blend into the background too much. A great 'pose' but the bird really needed to be sharper to pop out at the viewer. |

Nice composition. Looks a little oversharpened - not too keen on the bright outlines of some parts. I like the B&W here - good choice. Well done. |

May I assume the high degree of grain was purposeful? Focus seems indeterminate (can't find the focused area). Framing is good (positioning the subject in the frame). I'd like to see more detail with the subject. 5 Rob the Swash |

The graininess works well here, I like it. I'm not sure I like that shadow in the middle though, it's kind of distracting. |

Did you add the noise? It looks good for this image. It also looks like this is maybe a crop from a much larger picture. Not enough detail to really rate this. |

Nice capture, but the shadow down the middle is very distracting in my opinion. |

This is an okay shot, and for sure on topic for flight. I also don't mind the grain. I do mind the shadow/stick or pole. I'm sure you had no other choice so I understand. Maybe a tighter crop? |
