I dont know why but I was flicking through the old Gary Larsson challenge and I saw this. There is now a fellow Brit sitting with tears of laughter rolling down his cheeks, one of my all time favourite Far Side cartoons, brilliantly brilliantly executed
A very tardy ten, but added to favourites
You sir are quite simply a genius |

One of my favorite Larson cartoons. How did you get the cat to investigate? Food, or just natural curiosity? (My cat loves the dryer when it's still warm, but I don't think she'd do it on cue!) |

Great shot! I loved that one... Top 5 for sure!
Edit: You were robbed. =) Congrats on the 6.35+ score, though! Great work!

One of my all-time fav Larson's. One other like it in this challenge. Tens for both of you for making me laugh until tears came to my eyes. Love it! |

Excellent choice of strip, and well executed. I love how the cat "your model"...oops I meant to switch the quotes on that but too late now im in the next sentence already. Anyways I love how your cat really does look curious like the one in the cartoon. You may be missing the scheming dog in the background, but personally Im glad you did it the way you did instead of cutting and pasting a dog in the picture. Good luck. |

nice take on one of Larsons classics....its hard to find a shift eyed dog to hide behind the washer...and as far as i can see that is the only thing that would make this truer to the origional...but no one wants to copy outright....so well done and good luck |
