I have collected The Far Side comics for years, especially those that are science-related. Sometimes, I will put them on tests that I give to my students. Consequently, I was very excited to take on this particular challenge.
I set this up on my dining room table, all from toys that my kids have had for years. My three-year-old son assisted me (he just thought we were playing dinosaurs). I whittled down craft sticks to look like matches and cigarettes, and had a heck of a time getting them to stay lit for the shot.
The ground cover is vermiculite from a model train set.
I put a lot of effort in this one; hope you like this as much as I do!
Post-processing in PS: cloned out some distracting areas on the dinosaurs, adjusted contrast levels, color balance, desaturation, curves, dodge and burn, crop, save for web. |

Although its not the best aesthetic photograph in the bunch, I have a feeling you did this one out of love for the cartoon, In my opinion one of the most funny Far Sides. Im giving you a 7 just for giving tribute to a classic. |
