"they lied to us
this was supposed to be the future
...
where is my cure for this disease"
-threadless.com t-shirt

development. society and medicine. pain-relieving patch on muscles knotted like rocks. development and chronic pain, slow; hopeless feeling. pain patch only helps so much. forever the pain, a constant companion; development of cure can't be soon enough.

(It was really ironic, I thought, that getting this photo, which was all about pain, required me to crouch in very painful ways.)

I really like this one. to go with the pain I like the off kilter sign to make it a bit more off putting

Actually not straight B&W - the sign and the background were colorless to begin with (silver/black sign and shadowed background) and I just hue shifted and slightly desaturated the rest of me to get the bluish tint (and the green). Thanks for commenting on the colors as it was hard to know exactly what to go for; I knew I wanted something that fit the theme so it's nice to know I got close to that.

The B&W really makes this shot. Expresses your point well.

Interesting take. I'm not sure I understand all of what you are saying in this image. I feel like there is more that I need to know and understand. You're making me push my understanding. I like that.

Oh wow...I have never heard of them before. Thanks for filling me in.
