The spot by the lighthouse was a bird I didn't see while taking the shot. I should have noticed but I was in a hurry!

Post Challenge: Thanks for the votes and comments! This lighthouse is actually in Michigan City, but I looked up the one in St. Joe and it looks a lot like it.

I was out on near the lighthouse twice since I took the shot and both times the lighter blue water appears to be difference in amount of waves. Shadow/highlights was used but I forgot to list in steps.

Byt the time you are through you are going to be able to produce a whole book on nothing but this lighthouse. That is a good thing because you have a great ability of capturing it at different times to enhance the elements. This photo is a perfect example of that. Brilliant capture.

wow did u use shadow highlights in CS? i like the composition in this pic very much. great detail. but the glow effect on the bridge is a bit much to me. in my opinion. keep it up dude.

Yep, I'm aware of the dust. I got it out, but have a bit more I'm still dealing with!

The angle of the clouds adds just enough of a contrast to the strongly converging lines of the walkway to make the picture interesting
