 So, yeah. I did go back and edit the shirt colors. Thanks to Jutilda and fotomann_forever for pointing out the need to do so. I completely agreed.

As for the technicals; I shot this in a mirror in my bathroom. Lit by flash bounced off the ceiling.

The texture is one I grabbed from this site.

I also took the opportunity to try out a new editing technique on the eyes. It involved USMing the eyes fairly harshly , and then fading that layer back (33%) and setting blending to screen...

First - thanks for sharing the "how to's" - that's very much appreciated. Second - you did a great job on this! The eyes especially are very good. No need to catch up or do one a day - just throw one in when you want.
