 I originally wanted to do something much more macro than this, but then this idea hit me. This is a plasma ball I got in the 70's (yeah man, remember those days?). I'm touching my finger to the ball to atract the electrical flare that you see.

Post processing was minimal: Converted from raw, reduced size, used color balance to deepend the blues a bit, sharpened and added a border.

This would be much better if it were in focus and not so noisy.
