| my left brain said "this is just another macro shot" but then my right brain wouldn't let me look away from it. I was immediately grabbed with emotion. That bee... is weeping... ridiculous, I know, but I could not shake the idea. and the sad, shattered petals of that flower, which provides him no comfort. The picture is heartbreaking. How did you do that? I know how! Magic. |

| Hoorah for natural purple subjects in a challenge with far too many non-purple subjects hue-shifted to meet the challenge! I really like the detail in the petals and insect and the lovely shallow DOF in the rest. |
