Nice setup. With the basic editing - could the candlesticks stand out more? |

Like the reflections. Focus needs work. Candlesticks should be sharper. |

The focus might have been better placed on the candle holders even though the window is showing the rain for the challenge. I think the voters would have been able to see that even if it wasn't in focus.
It looks like the right holder is more in focus but a lot of people read from left to right and that carries over to photos. By seeing the left holder first, one assumes the right one isn't in focus either, especially in a symetrical composition. The voters will spend about 3 seconds looking at the picture and will naturally jump to conclusions. |

A different take on the challenge. Its not quite grabbing me though. The focus is a bit soft on the right candle stick and the composition just isn't interesting enough to draw me in. |

Good entry for this challenge, the reflected candles give the illusion of being in the rain. |

I like the way the flames reflect in the window in a manner that makes it feel like the reflections are "in" the rain |

This is a nice combination of the rain and candlelight...sets a nice mood. |

I think I would like this better if the left candle were in focus. And if I could see the base of the candlesticks/window sill. 6 |

What a sweet, cosy set up. I little blurry but no matter, I like the idea! :) |

I like the idea of this, rather than your execution - I'm not sure how you might make it more impactful, but a couple of things stand out for me immediately: your depth of field is very shallow, such that the candles are not particularly in focus, along with the rainy window. Also there's a lack of a feel of contrast - you've exposed well enough for the light of the candles themselves, but the light beyond that is rather flat and uninteresting - perhaps simply waiting until the day outside were a little darker might have done it. |

This is the most real shot I've seen so far. Cheers for the creativity! |

Interesting composition, and a nice feeling of rain that appeals to the senses. |
