| This isn't very abstract. The background is abstract, but the leaves are highly recognizable and have all sorts of symbolic and sentimental associations. In fact, they bring this picture to life. It feels as though they are swirling in a frozen vortex. It somehow becomes a meditation on memory and loss, but also what is retained. And I can't bring myself to vote less than 9 for this. |

| Nice balance of color, composition and texture. Kinda' spooky hint of "something" in the center really makes this very mysterious. |
