 Here i go!! This is my first participation in DPChallenge, so i have a lot of doubts, especially regarding how the colours of my photograph will be seen in your own screens. I have followed the indications of the tutorials about preparing photos for DPChallenge, so i hope everything will be ok. All opinions are wellcome (be as critic as you wish!!)

Thank you everybody for your comments, all them are welcome and will help me to improve.
I think i should give you an explanation about the color,...it's very simple, i made a mistake in the translation of the word "purple"!!
As you will notice, just check my profile, i am spaniard and when i search for the translation of purple i found two posibilities, "púrpura" and, like C Steve G has pointed out in his comment, "morado". The first one has to do with reds hues and the second one with, well, the color of your eye after being hit by someone fist ;-)

I'm disappointed this didn't place higher... it's a pinkish shade of purple!

Unless my eyes deceive me I wouldn't concider this to meet the criteria of being Purple, so no matter how much I like your picture I can't give it top-scores... (But don't worry - I won't give it a beating either)

Great shot - there's a wonderful delicacy about it. Good composition, but sadly this looks totally pink on my monitor not purple at all.

interesting shadow/light on the background wall. I think you should have enhanced that in post-processing.

Wow, extremely delicate image. The detail is superb. The color however, on my monitor is a beautiful rose pink hue. Interested in other's color/point.

Nice image, the color does not show up as purple as I would have liked for this challenge but the quality of the image is very good.

I may be missing it, but where is the purple? The hues are all sahdes of red IMO. Wonderful clarity of subject, just not of the challenge.
