Great shot Rob. You are now the top scoring 300D. Keep it up and you'll be the 300D photo god. Cheers.

Nice Photo Rob! I missed this while flipping through the images. Great idea too.

Good Irony, LOL

i dunno, may be the cropping or the angle this was taken, it doesn't show the strength of the situation strongly enough. 6

The angle makes this photo really eye-catching. The lockout and the sign together provide the irony. I also like the contrast of texture between the metal sign and the brick.

Focusing on the lock rather than the sign (or both) would emphasize the irony even more.

Good irony. Normally I don't like a tilted angle, but it works well here. The texture of the bricks show very well, as does the weathered gate. Nice candid.

Good depth of field, I like the colors, good irony.

Excellant perspective shot. Good use of DOF and well framed. Just a nice image all the way around. It meets the challenge particularly well.

I like this a lot. Good angle. It gives the image depth. So many other "sign" images in this challenge look really flat. I personally feel that a little more depth of field would have made it easier to see the lock on the gate, but other than that I really like this shot.

An't that the truth....

Ironic. :-) Your shot is not bad and I do like the crop. All in all not bad and it fits the challenge. Good going.

He he, now this is funny! So you do have more to see in Brighton than just a pier :-)

I like the angle you chose here, and your choice of DOF. Good shot.
