This is an alternate to my entry in the Geometry Challenge. It would be interesting to see which would have done "better" in the Challenge. I used curves unmercifully and tweaked colors as well, to pull this image out of the fog. All basic legal.

I Happily stand by the one I entered, even tho it didn't score very well, btw.

What a great photo. I love the comparison of the 'size' of the boat and the bridge, great compostion.

I definitely prefer this one to your entry. By using curves so heavily you allowed the bridge to come to life...the colours are rich, without being over-bearing. I am not a big fan of constantly oversaturating images, as many on this site do...but it works here. The sailboat simply jumps out now. And for some reason I am much more comfortable with the bridge on the right...very nice shot.
As for scores (who cares)..but this would have scored at least .5 better if not more..imho
