 The idea was to use my new lens and make it look rainy on me ... I figured the DOF would look keeewl -but in the end it really didn't make the shot, I don't think. I also thought having a noisy image wouldn't be too bad so I used 640 ISO. This was inside my "sun" room and no real set-up other than getting the umbrella out of my car. The leaves in the corner are from a "lucky" tree in our sun room - I hope this spells luck fore me :[] !!! I did forget to put rain on the umbrella but that was sorta the point ... body is wet, umbrella is not.
And hey ... I did get my filter all wet and some of the lens so it wasn't really cheaty. Shot at 16mm.

Great blue hue to it all. An interesting perspective - but I'm having a hard time adjusting to the angle. Which way is up?!

Very nice angle and unique feel to this! I think it works well in the challenge and is quite compelling. The plant in the lower right might be slightly distracting from the main subject, but nothing to pick on. Great shot! 8o)

it's so sharp that he looks like he's made of marble or metal. this is an interesting effect but doesn't enhance the sense of rain or of "internal climate" 6
