 last minute - 5 minutes before roll over. crap. again... Found him trying to find purple....

To be honest, I have no idea what kind of bug this is. I went outside at 11:15 and grabbed probably half a petunia bush. The purple flowers I had (yes - flowers - it was very last minute and eggplants were just too dark) just didn't thrill me. they were boring. I happen to have many purple and pink flowers around my house but these were the closest to the door. For the record, I am not a fan of purple or pink. In fact, I can say that two colors I really like the least are purple and pink. They just go really well with the house. Anyway, I was trying to shoot these flowers in some interesting (CREATIVE) way when I noticed them move. Hey! Cool! A bug. So I shot that instead. The bog was translucent in spots, particularly his legs, so it reflected back the purple. I don't think he was actually purple. After submitting, I forgot all about the bug and the flowers. They sat on my studio table for a week. Have no idea where he skittled off to...

Do you know what typeof bug that is?
I think it is somekind of shield bug but im not sure
