I like the tight crop, and the soft texture of the fur here. I might have cropped out the lower part up to the shoulders, because the eyes are really drawn to the face, anyway.

We rescued a joey once. Australians in the 50s used to go out shooting them en masse from the back of trucks and then the only part they'd eat was the tail (as in ox tail stew / soup). One of the shot mothers had a joey in her pouch and the joey was brought into my dad's surgery (he was a doctor). We hung up a sack on the back of the door to emulate the pouch but them outcome was not good. Joeys need their monthers.
