This was inspired by an IM with Crystal, but Mike cryingdragon beat me too it, so I decided to invert the masking. Tada! Don't look too close if your sensibilities might be offended.

Negative contrast layer to keep certain areas from showing through the Solid Black layer set to 96% 93% opacity (uploading caused it to get too dark). Marquee to cut holes in the layer.

Is this nudity? Is this censorship? Is this art?

After reading crydingdragon's comment, I fired up my laptop because my desk monitor makes everything darker (as I learned on one of self-portraits).

Now I know what he meant. :)

And wow, let me bump up my respect for you. That took guts!

Sure, it's nudity. Well, it's hard to censor yourself. And yeah, I'd call it art. I think it's pretty cool, actually, and a good statement, to boot!

Nice job. :) Had to drag it into Photoshop to really see what was going on of course. Clever, and daring.

I cannot tell you how offended I am by this image. I can almost make out the top of your butt cheeks- not that I was looking. Its time to go back to the good old days when every inch of a persons body was covered in some type of fabric. Wait, I'm getting the good old days confused with the taliban. And what is that bare elbow supposed to represent- a boobie perhaps.

Great idea. I like it. I like how you barely show anything in this photo. Even just your eyes for the sake of the censorship theme.
