This is a "Crayon on Sidewalk" paint by Torontonian artist Xing, done at the Eaton Centre's south entrance.
While many traditional painters have their "Oil on Canvas" hanging their work in fancy museums, galleries and halls around the world, it just blew me up that this artist has his temporary artwork "hanging" on the streets of the city, trampled by hundreds of people and quickly erased and forgotten.
I found it remarkable and asked if I could take some shots of him and his artwork.
This is just a humble attempt to allow his work to be somewhat preserved and appreciated by many more people all over the world, as well as to honor such a talented artist.
Now I couldn't be more anxious to know how this image is going to perform in this challenge.
How will the voters and commentators perceive the various facets of its "High Contrast"?
PP: Crop, Saturation, Brightness/Contrast, Curves, Save for web.
