 In the self-portraits thread, there's been a lot of discussion of nudity, censorship, and art. Here's one interpretation.

WAAYYY out of my normal comfort zone, but you gotta push yourself every once in a while.

Way to go Jeffrey! Excellent take on the subject.

Regarding trying to make it seem that it's going through you, you have to remember that the light would be different if the camera side edge of the box were further away. You have less reflected light on your left hand and more direct light on your right hand. Lightly burn the left hand and lightly dodge the right.

Along the top edge of the bottom box the shadow would be less prominent as well. Hope this helps. ;)

Cool idea and visual effect. I assume you started with 3 pics and then layered them and erased what you didn't want to be there, right?

Very cool! Love the four arms but only one body, and I do like the wall in the boxes. I think the post on this is very good! And it's a very brave shot - way to step "outta the box"!
