Good family group. On this monitor the dark covering over the baby gives the limbs around it something of a disembodied feel.

So much black makes it look like the baby's and dad's heads have no bodies.

i do love the idea of this shot. I might be happier if I could see both of eyes from the guy. Of course, if he only has one eye, then I understand the need to disguise it in the shadow. It does throw the balance off for me though.

HEE HEE - lovely family portrait. If I were to critique a thing, it would be to have at least a hint of dad's right eye visible. Great lighting and contrast. That face and those little toes. AUGHHHHHH
