 I used contrast, and shallow dof to bring the flowers out front and make them stand out. I like the image because the composition suits my eye.

Very little editing. I tweaked in in raw shooter for a minute to get the color in the background and the contrast way up for the challenge. I then cropped in photoshop added a border and saved for the web.

very nice use of selective color. best one yet (but only 1/4 of the way through. we'll see how it stands through the rest of the voting)

The background of this picture is quite dramatic. This picture would carry a higher impact with flowers that carried a higher energy. 6.
