 This Monarch is perfect, what a beautiful specimen. Taken at the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Post Processing: Contrast up +80, Crop, Flatten Image, Channel Mixer Monotone (+90 red, +10 green), Unsharp Mask, Resize for DPC.

I don\'t expect this to score well, standard butterfly shots don\'t, but I\'m going through Update Button withdrawal.

I like the contrast on the butterfly, but the flowers get lost in the light background keeping it a mid-range photo in my opinion. Sorry
