For what it's worth, I thought this was one of the most memorable shots of the competition. I also thought that it was as well executed most that outscored it.. I think the lightting is fantastic, and I like the use of color. The expression is priceless, even though you cannot see this child's eyes. I might have cropped closer, but I tend to crop too closely. Anyway, very nice shot.

Really like this - well-posed and the colors are great. The only thing that looks weird is a patch of his hair that looks cloned or over-saturated...?

I love the butterfly on the kid's face. I do wish the background were one solid color.

This is really nice. The kid's semi-grin is perfect. Suggest a tighter crop (closer to the kid's left shoulder for less black "space"). Also heal that little spot on his shirt (left shoulder). If it's not a dust spec, it sure looks like one. Is it a live butterfly, BTW?
