i d like this better if the whole bike was in the frame.

I find all the stuff in the background distracting

This is a great shot, except where is the rest of the bike??

wow.. i don't believe I have ever seen a contraption quite like this before :) I would love to have seen the whole thing... good shot :) - jmsetzler

I liked the idea, but to me, the composition does not help.

the boardwalk makes this picture more than just exceptional. The entire scene looks as if it could have been spapped turn of the century. The trike going off the left edge gives it the illusion of motion, rather than being framed as a museum piece. Exceptionally well done!

Most of a nice picture...what happened to the rest of the tryk? (front and one rear tire and handlebars cut off) In my opinion, the subject/background are too close in color value for a good black and white photo. Suggestion: turn the bike 90 degrees and use the boardwalk as your background, it shows up really good against the planks and take a step back and get the whole subject. 6 Swash

Like subject and background but shame about cropping. Would have liked to see whole bike against same boardwalk and stones and leaves.

Good subject.

Definitely looks old!

The sepia is a bit overdone here, and there isn't much contrast here. Also, cutting the bike out of the frame in both tires and the handle bars is a bit distracting.

Nice tone to this shot.

Wow! What a cool tricycle!

Very nice, maybe less cropping so the whole bike could have been into view. My eyes are heavily attracted to the pedal, when I'd like the focul point to be the wheels (6)

that tricycle is so cool..

What a wonderful OLD trike. Why the heck didn't you work at getting it fully composed in your picture? It is such a great subject you could have stood back and let it sell itself. It looks like you had quite a lot to work with, technically you got it but composition is lacking. IMO Autool

I enjoy this photo a lot. It blends into the background quite a bit, though. Less depth of field may have helped it stand out.

Wish this wasnt cropped so tightly, so we coould see the whole thing
08/05/2002 10:18:00 AM
The background is really distracting.Especially with the spokes and other vertical lines in the frame of the tricycle.
08/05/2002 02:15:00 AM
I wish I could see the entire tricycle. Nice subject.

Nice subject. The part against the wood and the rocks looks real good, but the part with the bushes in back seems to fade into the bushes.
