| I'd echo Trynity's comments here regarding the texture and also add that I think your vantage point might be a touch off in this. It's like you're shooting from below. I think had you brought the camera up level with the baby, it would have improved the composition and allowed more view of the baby and a bit less towel. |

I like the texture on the towels but the baby seems to be devoid of texture and a little soft. Changing the aperture or working with the focus point more to bring everything into sharper focus could help. I'm not sure about the catchlight, it really stands out, but having the eye completely black may look weird too.
Overall it's an adorable baby pic and at the end of the day this works as a great memory shot. |
