taken as i was getting back into my car from shopping downtown. I like how it turned out. :)

i had to crop some of it because i had spot edited the bottom part before realizing i couldn't enter that one. the part i edited has been removed.

I love the idea you were going with but the cropping left me hanging. If you could have cut the shot diagonally, from upper right to lower left I think it would have been much better. The empty space on the left pulls me out. The cloudy sky, the colors are are great, just a tad more contrast would make them perfect.

Looks more "uptown" to me. Nice detail but lacking in interest.

Qualifies for challenge, but no real visual appeal to me. Visible JPG artifacts in the clouds and the lamps seem out of focus. Timing is everything here and the picture would have worked much better with a more interesting sky.

looks like its gonna rain! the cropping is a bit strange. perhaps b/w would allow the shapes to stand out more. right now the colors aren't adding much, but kind of make the shot drab.

The sharp angle of the building on the right draws me into the photo, the straightness of the other building brings a kind of repose by contrast. Quite a sky you got for a background.
