This is awful. I had the idea, but the execution was terrible. My only hope is that everone else's is horrible too.

To do this I cut a hole in some poster board, put an old black shirt over it, cut another hole, then stuck my ear thru the holes and drop a pin NEAR my ear. It was all very frustrating and difficult because I had to lay down my head in a certain way while keeping my ear visible, press the timer, then drop the pin without it landing in my ear. I took about 200 shots of this, and then when I look at them there was SO much noise! I compensated by darkening the background and trying to smooth out the ear because it was suuuper-grainy. I also had to clean up the pin while still keeping the motion look it originally had. ugh.

Also, this is my first challenge with my new camera and I feel like I am doing it NO justice with this shot. Oh well, I'll just have to wait and see, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to regret this one.

A bit contrived. Does meet the challenge, though.

Like the concept and this meets the challenge perfectly. Some noise reduction would have help especially since there are no fine details to worry about damaging.

The ear could do with a bit more focus, good idea though.
