| how are these unrelated? Don't you always see a dragonfly perched like this? technically, the background is nicely OOF. however, the insect and weed are also slightly OOF. the colors are muted. i would have liked to see more contrast and sharpness. also, remember the rule of thirds, and place that dragonfly in a location other than smack dab in the middle (lends to a boring composition). not trying to be harsh, just helpful. |

| Dragonfly is out of focus. Eye is drawn to white highlight, not subject. |

| To me this does not meet the challenge "Unrelatedness". To me this challenge suggests that you should show a picture of two elements that are not commonly seen together, and I don't feel that to be the case here. |

I'm not sure where the "unrelated" part is - looks like a dragonfly in its natural and expected environment. The composition could be more exciting and some post processing would help with the "pop".
The background is nicely blurred, but I find the bright part at the top rather distracting. Nice focus on the dragonfly. |
