The high contrast really ads to the mood in this image. Conveys the emptiness and mystery in the shadows but there is plenty of detail in the light to keep they eyes moving around but not get lost. The only suggestion for improvemet I have is to rotate the image a bit counterclockwise- to make the pole on the right evenly verticle.

It'd be cool if this was contrasting with something other than color - like a fancy car, or something nice looking in this place. So it doesn't belong.
