| This is a wonderful night shot, the colors are wonderfully muted but don't really convey a sense of torment to me. It really seems more serene and calm. |

| The sky here is lovely and, though dramatic, it does not really contribute to a tormented feel for me. Your use of sillhouette is very nice here; perhaps a different object sillhouetted would work better to convey a tormented mood: a twisted tree, or dead branches or something? I'm also just a bit colorblind, so may be missing some colors that lead to a tormented mood. |
