Well, certainly fits the challenge in my eyes! Great use of DOF here and I am impressed at how well you have controlled your exposure in this shot as there are a lot of different shades of whites (if that makes sense!).

Nice job, but he's not that much of a geek, his socks match!

I love this. How much more "faceless" can you get than feet. (Just as a side note -- I appreciate that his socks are hole-less and clean).

I love the composition of this. The feet immediately attract attention, but then the eye is drawn up into the frame to see what he is reading. I like the shadows as well.

The only suggestion I might give, and I'm not sure it would make it stronger is to have him sitting at an angle/diagonal going through the frame, instead of centered. Like I said, I don't know if that would really make it stronger, because I like how it is centered. (How is that for wishy-washy?)

Great work.

Interesting take. I thought this might be yours when browsing the thumbnails. crisp and white on lower left then sepia less crisp upper right. I musta stared at this 10 minutes trying to decide; near or far in focus. I like the DOF you chose because I think it helps the 'laid back' feel. I know you do darn good laundry, or those new pair?lol j/k (had to comment on that after reading comments during challenge). Nice job, just some really nice shots in this challenge.

I think you should have gone for a deeper DOF. When I first open the picture the first thing I see is the top, and I thought it was out of focus.
