This could almost be one of those atmospheric Parisian images - the steam helps with that too - but the composition doesn't work for me and the right hand side of the frame doesn't add anything. |

Just kidding. Very moody - great steam and environmental ambience. The lighting is superb and I don't think you can get more urban than this. Perhaps lacking a little detail/contrast in shaded areas, but I love it. [9] |

There is something about steam rising from a vent in the street that captures the underlying pulse of the big city. Your angle, lighting and choice of B&W works well with this image. The few people there are makes the city stark. Good job. |

The only downfall is the sun glare coming through the buildings. I like the use of black and white in this image - the smoke (condensation?) coming up from underground is a great touch. Gives it a movie set feel. |
