 i just have to thank my husband for posing for this. he hated it the whole time. he especially hated the lisa frank "angel" tattoo i stuck on him. :)

but honestly he is a big tough looking guy, he's 6'4", 280lbs with shaved head & LONG goatee. people often mistake his for a rough sort. he has no tattoos however, doesn't drink, doesn't go to bars or ride a harley, he's just an average working dad/family guy. the tattoo i put on him was fitting even though most people would consider it out-of-place...


wierd lighting on head & back are because he has tan lines from hard-hat & tshirt.

Sweet portrait, Michele - I quite like this! The crease in the neck and the very short hair tell me he's an honest working man - I don't know exactly why, but that's what I see. Tell him thanks for being such a good sport, too.

a wonderful image, an 8 even though i have a tiny technical niggle. the content of the picture is so powerful it overcomes the slightly overblown bottom. just a tiny bit deeper tone on the bottom of the image would have made this simply superb.

the contrast between the texture of hte skin, the size of the man, or preconceptions of large tattooed men, and the tattoo itself, andthe title, work wonderfully. (it could have been in unrelatedness too...)

A bit dark but I like the tattoo and the contrast between big and little, between reality and what is perceived.
