 I did not plan for the alligator to be in the shot. I was shooting the ducky and all of a suddem this big alligator pops up to the surface of the water. It was scary experience but I managed to take a few shots before the gator swam away, lucky for me and my ducky Mr. Gator was not hungry that day.

OMGosh! The alligator just popped up? Its a wonder you didn't have a heart attack! This would have to be the most amazing real life story to go with an entry in this challenge.
If it was me, I would of counted my losses and left ducky to fend for himself.

I'd love to hear the story behind this shot...sorry to say the focus...which might have been hard to get...hurts the shot a great deal. At first glance I missed the real star of the shot.

Great capture of a moment, hope that you had a long lens. A slightly tighter crop would probably be better, reducing the distraction of the background and foliage on the left. Nicely done.

i'm not sure if that duck has polka dots on it or is just noisy or oversharpened but the coloring looks very odd to me. hth

there are too many objects in the photo and the duck is not easy to notic
a litle more contrast would be helful
