went into my first post an hour or 2 ago and made an idiot of myself ... its a good thing dpc'ers are a nice crowd ...
just now went back to see what was going on in the post 'pik ur fav pik from person above u' ... and noticed this thumb ... then noticed ur name, so i opened it up ... the thumb doesnt prepare you for the view ..
it is an amazingly powerful & poignant photo .. done with such sensitivity .. u are an artiste extraordinaire !!!

I just came across this phtoto and had to say what an absolutly beautiful shot. I like the colors, shows that even through sadness she is still a little girl full of life. Reminds me of my own little girl and my father who has passed away. I could't stop looking at it! Adding to my favorites. Great job!!!!!

| great processing. the colors pop but at the same time it's really subdued and fits the image perfectly. the softness is so endearing as well as the pose. and wonderful placement. congrats! |

| I think this is very nice. Good use of color and effects. My eye pulls to the flowers that because of the shallower dof are a bit out of focus and that distracts me a bit, but over all pretty sweet shot. |

| Great idea for an image, however, I think the subject evokes somber, reflective & quiet but the bright colorful clothes evoke cheerful, excited, happy. Cool image though. |

| One of the very few photos where selective saturation works for the subject and not against it. Slightly over-processed for my taste, but i try to leave that out of voting for obviously well-constructed images such as this. Well done! 8o) |

| The softness is nice though maybe a bit too much on the top of her hat. The sole of her shoe bothers me just a bit - it draws the eye. Colors are wonderful and the sentiment is sweet. |

| This is a very powerful image. The postprocessing enhances this by making it look almost surreal. Only detail that I would try to correct would be the shoe's brand shoing in the sole. |
