I has such a lot of fun with this one. I brought some bright colored crepe paper strips, and I then proceeded to wrap up my wonderful husband head completely covering his face.
I hope you like it, as I think it is kind of quirky, and humerious.
I really must thank my husband Peter, for being so patient, and also so wonderful to me.

Critique Club Review:

Technical: Focus and depth of field are excellent. Color, saturation and hue are very good, with the exception of the skin tones. Skin tones are a bit blue. Is he suffocating?

Reaction: After reading your comments, it is a wonder he could breathe. Then again, looking at the skin tones, perhaps he wasn't. ;-)

I really like what you've done here, but at the same time, the camera angle and lighting makes him look a bit flat. Had he turned his head a bit, there would have been much more depth to the picture. Which I feel would have helped some.

As is, very creative, and I really like the colors and energy of the piece. Nice job!

Excellent pic. You've really started moving out of the box with this one... I like the colors, including the background. The brightness may be distracting to some, but I feel that it is a strong element that is appropriate given the context.

The only nitpick that I have is that there is strange coloring in the fingers... Like someone was playing with blue paint or something...

i tought this was yours, shez. i love the bright colours on the face, and the fact that you can see the forms of his face beneath the wrapping. i think it might be improved with a darker tone on the background - it's a very strong, pure blue, and is quite distracting.

Great job, nice vision, and execellent execution. Not alot here to critique, I'm not a huge fan of the blue in the border, but I wouldn't take a point away for it.

as a painter, the ribbons across the face remind me of the amazing variety of colors that are contained in human skin, and for caucasians, this variety is almost surreal... as you can see in the fingers here. 8

Not sure this reveals anything about the subject but it's fun and cleverly done!

Nice colors on the face, but the skin tone on the hands looks a little creepy!

Very cute idea and setup but There is something odd about the post-processing. Too much neat image and too much saturation for my tastes.

I like the surrealistic attitude you're taken. I think this could be a ribbon-winner (of all the entries I've seen so faar).
