Beautiful sky colours! The image looks so natural, and the title is just right for it. I like the little bits of red peeking through at the bottom of the log (or fence?), and (it probably wasn't intentional), but the red marks on the tennis-shoes echo the sky colours just right.

I meant to come back and comment on this and forgot - recognized Stearns Wharf immediately and suspected it might be you! What I really like is one guy, two boats, two birds. Something about the symmetry there.

A very interesting capture of the universal fisherman! Very nice colors and textures. Take another bump!

this is a very soothing shot, though you'd think it would be a much more strenuous effort for him to reel in that freighter he has hooked ;)

Need to be careful to separate the objects in the frame. It looks as though the ship on the right is hanging off the fishing line, and the boat on the left is stuck with the fisher's body. A couple of steps left would have fixed both problems.

I like the composition with the birds and the sign and the bucket and the boats in the background. The color of the sky and lighting are very nice.

Very nice image, I like the peaceful feeling and the warm colors. The birds on the bottom are a good addition and I would have liked to see the crop a tiny bit larger so the bottom birds feet do not get cut but well done. 8

I studied this a bit before voting. It is a wonderful vignette and tells a story. I like the birds, the man's red in the shoes, the diagonal line of the fishing pole. All in all - well done. 7

great to have the birds in the shot...the burning looks a little on the gray side, but a nice composition and great light
