I'm currently exploring the B/W, and duotoning possibilities of PS. I hope this trial gives the mood of a past old town. Blue tone instead of black should give a touch of nostalgy .

Okay Belgium then. Well my guess of Holland wasn't that far off :-)

Good detail, I like the duo tone feel.

This is an excellent shot but the duotones do nothing for me. I would have liked to seen this in it's original color or even black and white for comparision. I love the perspective and the sense of urban is very strong.

Cool shot. Like the angle and color you've chosen. The bike leaning up against the building is a nice addition, too.

Nice job.

Don't like the duotone colour. It would probably have looked better in warmer yellowish duotone, since it's sunny bright day. Even triotone with this colour and yellow oposite. Other than that - nice perspective and sharpness.

I don't really care for the colors in this shot, it gives it kind of a purplish glow.

this is charming and certainly gives the feel of urban landscape - the lines are clean, crisp, and the textures are nice 8

Nice balance between shadow and light. The bicycle really helps set the tone of this image. Perfect execution. This is a case where I wish it were in color -- I know, you have to make a choice and some are going to commend you for the B/W shot -- in this case, I'm not one of them.

I really like the feel of this image - It's as if I'm on vacation in a quaint village. With the position of the sun, it's hard to get the sky right. Nice job with this photo!

The view up the alleyway gives a sense of intimacy. I don't know how much the color contributes to the overall effect, but it is a photo that holds my interest.

nice, I would have liked a bit more contrast... seems a little washed out.

I don't know if the duotone choice helps here. sepiatone might have worked, or straight b&w, but the purple is somewhat out of place.

Now this looks very European. France? Germany? Holland? I'm going for Holland looking at those bikes there. Top composition and sepia toning. (9)

Needs straightening. I'm not convinced by your choice of colour. I think the photo needs more tonal contrast. Score: 5 (6 in normal black and white, and straightened).

nice color and lighting....I like the 'narrowness' of this shot!

too bright to the eyes and a slight rotation that cause the buildings to look slanted. 5
