This photograph of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, in Los Angeles, was taken at dusk. The light at dusk really captures the art of the building's design and stainless steel construction. It was shot using a Canon 10D with the 28-200mm (f3.5 - 5.6) lens. I used: ISO-100 @ 1/90 sec.
f/5.6 @ 57mm focal length

The new Walt Disney Concert Hall has not even seen its first show! I took lots of shots of the building, but I selected one that didn't give away its true form. I liked the mystery and strangeness of this shot. Plus, this isn't something you see every day.
Unfortunately, the sky in Los Angeles never turns any color except brown! I was looking for sunset or blue, but it was extremely smoggy. Even after dark, the sky became a dark brown glow from streetlights.

What the heck is that? Superb composition and the sky is perfect for the shot. A somewhat devalued 10 because I've given so many!

The sky looks pretty clear, so if you had waited a little longer you may heave got better color and better reflection.

Is this the Guggenheim in Bilbao?

Nice but the flat lighting does not do such a building justice.

I'd like to see more color, but this is a cool idea. I like all the sky on the right.

Pity it was overcast when you took this shot, this would have looked fantastic with a deep blue sky. The clouds seem to have a magenta tinge to them on my monitor, especially the lower clouds. Do you see that too?

I know that it is a building, but I have no clue as to it's size, overall shape or any other hints about it. Since the shape and material is unique, I think it would have been better to include some hints. Taking it futher away so I could see it's surroundings would have been one way to do that.

the cropping makes it hard to figure out what the subject is/looks like. and dusk is giving off an orange tone, which doesn't really suit the main subject (metal). just my personal opinion. 5
