that piece of seaweed or root or whatever it is, is distracting, as is the rest of the beach debris.
the composition would have been much improved if the beach was "cleaner". |

Cool surroundings and well placed subject. I wonder what this shot would have looked like with the sun lighting the ducks face. |

Nice environment to shoot it in, although the light was really harsh. Was this taken midday? I would suggest soft afternoon or early morning light to get rid of those harsh shadows. |

I would have faced the duck toward the sun instead of away from it. |

awwwww. poor wittle ducky. I'd prefer his face werent in shadow but otherwise nice shot. |

Nice shot, something IMO that would have helped, is a reflector to get more light on the face of the duck. |

I like the ocean movement in the back ground as well as the shadow cast. |
