Concept and idea is very good, but the image suffers from serious pixelation problem. The texture looks nice but because it is pixelated, you loose most of it. Also the spider is too centered (it is only slightly off centre but not enough for it to work). The whole shot could also use a contrast adjustment. |

The bg really adds a lot to this. The subject in ghostly white works very well. Good job! |

I feel this shot would have been more effective in it's original form, the actual spider, as close and real as possible is a very frightening thing to me, when put in this media it loses it's fear factor and doesn't capture my attention as well. |

Looks like a batik. Would like to see more what the actual texture looked like. Looks like you have a lot of artifacts in the image. Other than that and it being almost perfectly centered, I like it. 6 |

This has a painterly feel to it, that I like. Nice, moody shot. |

Cool effect...I like this. Simple color contrast, very effective in conveying the mood and tone of this photo. |

I'm really puzzled as to how you achieved this... inverting it doesn't seem to make it any clearer! I really like the textures, idea and composition... the outline of the spider make it seem more primal than seeing an actual spider. 10 |

Lots of contrast, and lots of people find spider falling into the nightmare category. For me it is a bit too washed out. |

Nice abstract feel. He could easily be a nightmare. A closer crop might have been better though. |
