We can say that the Valladolid cathedral is a hidden cathedral because the vast majority of the inhabitants of Valladolid ignore it. This is becasuse the cathedral is not finished and because it is not as great, marvellous and spectacular as the Burgos, Salamanca, León, Segovia or Zamora ones are. The main facade is partially hidden by the old buildings that are in front of it. The Cathedral is hidden in two ways: It's hard to admire it and people prefer to ignore it.

This shot was taken in a partially cloudy, foggy morning. Light conditions were not the best and my ignorance did the rest.

What a fresh approach to capturing buildings in an older city with narrow streets and crowding of structures. ( ie. opposed to rooftop photo) I like the cropping very much because the piece left on the right side (which I'm pretty certain you included to capture the statue on the roof) is significantly contributing to the texture of this composition. Nice perspective. I'm not sure about including the lamplight on the top. It is a little distracting , although I understand that it gives horizontal perspective too.

My personal preference would have been to crop off the right side of this image and a portion of the top to get rid of the street light. The two main buildings of the photo are very interesting and intersect nicely. Where they intersect is very interesting. The rest adds clutter. Still, nice capture: 6

nice shot, but I would have cropped out the street light in the top righthand corner.
