The depth of field is just too narrow for my liking. As far as Exposed goes this does tend to push the challenge a bit too literally for me. Composition is good but colour is a tad on the green side. Using some softer lighting/shadows would make this more interesting and allow a longer exposure and DOF. |

I understand what you are going for here and the concept is good but the shot itself leaves me a bit dizzy. The way the words go in and out of focus and I know that is on purpose to highlight the words you have focused but the effect makes my eyes hurt a bit. And I could be the only one that it does that to. Also if the front of the key was more focused with the word this would really have a more profound effect to me. I'm starting this one at a 7 |

Beautiful composition. I love the shallow depth of field on this photo. I think this would make a strong black and white also... |

Good idea, and deifinitely a different approach to the exposed concept. The effect is very successful using the extremely shallow DOF whereby only a few words are in focus and the key disappears into blurriness. |

Like it very much how the ord reveald stands out and is almost the only one in focus. Great work. |

I like the idea and the composition. I would have liked a deeper DoF, or maybe a similar DoF but focus on the tip of the key (which appears to have an interesting texture itself). |

Interesting interpretation of challenge. Good use of narrow dof. Shame about the text which is visible on the other side of the page. I'm not a fan of the yellow/orange colour, maybe this could have worked better in black and white? Or black and white and then tinted another colour. 8 |

Good Points: nice dof and idea.
Bad Points:technically great image, good stock shot too. Just doesn't do anything for me. But think it will do well.
Score:7 |

An interesting interpretation of Exposed.
Nicely setup and exposed with monochrome finish but how did you get the curved point of focus - looks intentional to emphasis a specific "run" of words? |

I love the way the page curls to give the focus effect. This would have been far less effective on a flat page. Nice work! |

More focus on the key would help this. even blurry, the message you're sending with the choice of the page is extremely clear. the focus should be on the metaphor, not on the type. |
