| Tricky, difficult photography, and I'm not sure whether you've really captured a desolate scene, or whether this is just dull ... but it's making me stop, so it must be the former. Great mood shot, though I think the focal range could have been either broader or narrower - whilst the piles of mud are in focus, the sign and the distance are either a little motion-blurred or not quite in focus. and there are dust-specks either on your lens or your sensor. 7 |

| I didn't score very high on this one because the overall quality of the shot left me wanting. I like the idea and the cropping is very good, including the Selver sign showing what is to come but the clarity and colors of the shot leave me wanting a bit. I can tell by the sky that nature wasn't on your side for lighting so I won't dock you a whole lot for that :) |

Was this taken through a window? Maybe there was just something on your lens. I seem to see a few spots near the center of the image. Also, placing the "Selver" sign a little more to the left (near the 2/3 mark) might work better.

Image is fairly flat -- could use some level adjustment and maybe push the saturation. Image is mainly homogeneous gray boring sky. Too bad you didn't have a better day to shoot. |

| I'm afraid it just lacks a bit of punch in the "wow" department. It just strikes me as being a bit of a gloomy, empty scene. |

| Sad to see what seems like the expansion of suburbia... although the photo itself is kinda plain. If only we could order up great sunsets on command. =) |
